The Father And His Family: It's Always Been About Love & Relationship

 

I was recently meditating on the Father's motivation and intention for adopting us into His family, when all of a sudden the song "I am Yours" by Amanda Cook and William Matthews (Bethel Music) propped up in my heart. And it blessed me real good.

The lyrics of the first stanza says:

"I am yours and you are mine, this is what you had in mind the whole time (3x)

In between the repetitions of the first line of the song, Amanda Cook then made a statement I believe the Spirit of God inspired her to say in that spontaneous worship.

"It's always been about love." She said, highlighting the Father's inspiration, plan and purpose for having a supernatural relationship with us- Love!

John the evangelist in his epistles pointed this out clearly.

"Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not." 1Jn 3:1 KJV.

God wants you to know that from the time before time began, when there was no earth or heavens, no galaxies or a single creature, you have always been in His mind.

He wants you to know that He has loved you with an everlasting love. The affair between the both of you is a FOREVER affair. You can't be separated from him. 

He won't ever abandon or cut you away from Him no matter how messed up your life is. No matter how bad things have gotten for you. No matter what happens tomorrow. There is absolutely nothing you can do to cut it short.

Rom 8:35 KJV Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

Rom 8:38 KJV For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come

Rom 8:39 KJV Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Knowing this, you can be free to relate with God at anytime, anywhere and anywhere. Knowing fully well that His heart eternally beats for you.

You can be free to extend His love which has been spread abroad in your heart to others. 

You just come to this place in your heart where you stop letting petty dogmas rob of the beautiful fellowship you have with fellow believers, even if they are from a different denomination. Provided they believe in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus.

You come to see them as members of the Father's family and respect them as such. Even if they don't believe in the doctrine of eternal salvation, tongues, mode of worship, trinity and so on.

You focus on what truly matters, a relationship with the Father, via Faith in Christ Jesus. 

You love them as the Father would. Because after all is said and done, only one thing would always matter to the Father- expressing His love to and through man.

This is what He has always had in mind. You and Him in a love relationship. Nothing else!

You matter to the Father. Let Him fill your heart with His Love today. And let that love flow through you to another fellow today.
